The New TRIP w/ Ellen Community
Let’s journey together to embrace our many deaths, so that we may LIVE – fully and free.
I’m super humbled and bursting inside to announce my new FREE community platform on Mighty Networks, and to invite you to join us.
This is the best way to stay up-to-date with all my offerings – free community grief practices, medicine ceremonies, private and group programs, and retreats.
I began TRIP w/ Ellen in August 2021 when I was facilitating my Breathe. virtual breathwork events through Zoom, which was soon followed by my Cannabreath virtual medicine + breathwork ceremonies, and MOONDOSE microdosing group containers.
In the last few years, my journey as a breathwork facilitator expanded fully into private medicine ceremonies, and took me through a death doula training program that changed my life profoundly.
I came to realize that my wound from almost three decades of grief suppression (real talk, it was TRUTH suppression) was shining a high beam on why my heart was lead onto this medicine path – to create safe, intentional spaces of gentle permission for us to express our grief and move that energy through our bodies.
I was on a mission to normalize death and grief – through grief practices and STORYTELLING. I launched my podcast MUM to talk about all the deaths that we get to experience in life, including the physical life endings of those we love.
And surprisingly, I found that talking about death and grief energized me. It filled me up because I was finally having conversations that my soul had wanted to have for so long. I felt like I could talk about death for hours with anyone who was willing to dive deep into the emotional waters with me.
The biggest realization coming out of my death doula training was that my ceremonial medicine work was truly death work.
In each journey, we descend into the underworld to confront parts of ourselves that we had locked up. Outdated limiting beliefs and stories imprisoned in our bodies begin to dissolve as we are shown new perspectives about our lives and our universe, and meet aspects of our divine essence that we had not previously allowed ourselves to fully embody.
Aspects of our personality die in these journeys. And when we resurface – when we are reborn – we integrate what we experienced so that we can sustain the embodiment of that divine essence.
So we can sustain our sense of FREEDOM embodied.
In walking the last five years with Death and Grief as my revered teachers and guides, I realized that we can’t fully LIVE until we have embraced Death.
Death IS Life, and Life is Death. I used to describe them as conjoined twins, but they are actually two aspects of one single being.
Death allows Life to happen.
They are the Yin and the Yang.
They occur simultaneously.
To be a student of Death is to fall in love with Life, over and over again. And that is the intention behind the TRIP w/ Ellen community –
