A Christmas prayer.
That is really what is asked of us.
Simply, to CARE. To be present and be moved by what we witness.
To FEEL. To deeply feel the circuit of energy that runs through each of us and binds us to one another, no matter what we know about each other.
To HONOR LIFE lived through each of our vessels in all these spectacular ways, inexplicable ways, magical ways, heart-shattering ways.
To MOVE TOWARDS one another, even in the most excruciating pain. To reach out our hearts as we see each other in anguish, in agony, in the throes of loss and grief.
To WITNESS the multi-textured terrains that we each travel through. Sometimes rough and rock-filled. Sometimes glassy and smooth as a winter’s pond. Through expansive mountain peaks and the darkness of a forest lit only by moonlight.
To HOLD each other in good faith that while our human selves are messily experimenting and learning through play — LIFE! — we each also contain the infinite essence of the cosmos within us. An essence that can only be described as LOVE. And love transcends beyond any wound, and any enactment of our wounding.
To DESIRE a genuine, essential, even primordial state of LIBERATION for all beings, human and non-human. To want us all to embody our most free expression of aliveness. To dream and desire it so badly that every cell within our body can feel that yearning. And every measured ounce of life force within us has only one choice in this life — to make it so.
This is my Christmas prayer for humanity, for the Earth, to all our well ancestors of land, lineage and legacy. To all our higher dimensional teachers and guides.
May we all CARE and be cared for.
May our hearts break over and over across the full spectrum of our lived experiences, so that we may FEEL the presence of care unquestionably.
May we all be FREE.
May we all be FREE.
May we all be FREE.
And so it is.
